In Schwerelosigkeit schwebend im All
Great album. Exceptionally raw, melodic, and aggressive. I'm not accustomed to this modern style of black metal music, but it has grown on me.
This album is missing the track "Mad World" when I bought the digital album + shirt. Sid
[9.6/10] Easily the best sounding blackened death/thrash this side of The Crown's "Eternal Death", with lungs and screams sounding like Tompa (1min05, on ''Moloch'' simply delivers 1 of the most effective ''Go"' ever caught on record this side of Tompa's Disfear. Listen to this if you care about the likes of Destroyer 666, Aura Noir, Krisiun's "Black Force Domain". Cannot say how this will fare at the end of the year compared to other records... but chances are this will still be in my top 10. Death's Loco's Synfonic Meadow
The subtle melancholic atmosphere created by M.S. and J.J. is some of the best atmospheric story telling i have ever heard in music and there is a reason this album is my favorite. Shores of Eternity
This wild 35-track all-metal benefit album features Mare Cognitum, Panopticon, and more reinventing songs by Tori Amos & others. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 3, 2020
The Alberta crushers hold tight to their rank, astral-gazing grindcore, staring down abyssal torment all the while. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 31, 2020
There is no need to gush about how great Der Weg einer Freiheit is, everyone should be aware of it by now. That their first demo (!) has been such a stellar work - that is another story, often forgotten beneath the magnificence of recent outputs. If you are even slightly interested in black metal, this s/t is very much worth your time. Christian Bass' (now-Heaven Shall Burn) drumwork lets the sky crumble above you. An inexorably strong debut and herald of the greatness to follow. Pristine. David Fischer
